General Motors engine performance training available across Texas
The Automotive Training Group (ATG) is providing General Motors engine performance training across Texas during the month of June.
The cost is $199 per person, which includes training and student manual.
Jason Virdin, the instructor, will cover General Motors engine performance for vehicles from 1996 to 2008. Attendees receive an all-new General Motors Training Manual, which includes repair information, tips, and testing examples. This new GM engine performance class overs all engine management systems, but has expanded sections on the following troublesome topics and unique new systems:
- Displacement on Demand
- Direct Injection (2,500 psi)
- Controller Area Network (CAN)
- Variable Camshaft Timing Systems
- Multiple Drive-By-Wire Variations
- All Ignition and Fuel Systems
- Enhanced EVAP, Misfire, Fuel Trim and EGR
This is the time to catch up on the latest GM changes, with tips and fixes from the instructor. Seating is limited.
