Season ticket special available for five nights of training in 2008

Full Service Auto Parts & Standard Motor Products Inc., are offering five nights of professional technician training in 2008 for one low discounted rate of $395.  Additional attendees are $75 per night.  For those who wish not to purchase the season ticket, single seminars cost $125 and the two-night seminar costs $175.

Thursday, May 29, 2008 – Electronic Throttle Controls – One Night Program

This one night class will detail a logical and successful method of diagnosis and repair on electronic throttle controls. The operation, failure mode and diagnosis for Chrysler, Ford, General Motors, Honda, Toyota, and Nissan will be illustrated through case studies. This is not a theory class. You will be able to diagnose and repair these systems.

 

Monday/Tuesday, June 16 & 17, 2008 – Ford Engine Performance IV – Two Night Program

This is a complete update of our most popular class. Covering two evenings, it contains need to know information on the diagnosis and repair of the latest Ford EVAP, EGR, Fuel, and Ignition Systems. Case studies written by working technicians will detail operation, failure mode, diagnosis, and repair. Learn to use your scan tool to quickly diagnose most of these problems. Monday, September 29, 2008 – Ford 6.0 & 6.4L Power Stroke Diesel – One Night Program

This one night class will build on our popular 7.3L class with all new information on Ford's new diesel engines. Pattern failures and diagnostic pitfalls will be covered and you will leave with a library of quick diagnostics and fixes for these engines. You will see detailed examples of the diagnosis and repair of these engines. Learn to diagnose DTCs, fuel pressure problems, high pressure oil systems, EGR and turbocharger problems. Learn the best service practices for these

engines.

 

Tuesday, September 30, 2008 – Mode $06 & Beyond – Getting The Most of  Your Scan Tool – One Night Program

This one night class is designed from a technician's perspective. Are you getting the most from YOUR scan tool? Do you need a different one? Will it pay off? What will Mode 6 do for me? This class will help to answer these and many other questions regarding scan tools. A variety of case studies where Mode 6 data helps to identify a problem or validate diagnosis will be demonstrated. We will demonstrate ways to obtain important data and perform diagnosis for a variety of scenarios such as, misfire, EVAP, EGR, fuel trim, and other DTCs. We will explore the upcoming changes to Generic CAN Data and what they will mean to you. A variety of both OE and aftermarket scan tools will be used, this is not a sales class, we will present the facts you need to improve your skills.
